Paved with good intentions, Party Favors nevertheless travels down a perditious road. Parfait, a good director, is burdened with basic premise which hopes viewers accept an intimate (but highly implausible) ensemble piece salvaged by a few moderately hot sex scenes.
Essentially, Tia and Christian throw a party where, your guessed it, everyone wanders from room to room cheating on their dates, getting pissed off at each other and eventually forgetting their grievances long enough to engage in an uninhibited free-for-all,. The problem here -- as with nearly every standard adult drama --- is either A) the dialogue is too clever to be pulled off comfortable by your garden-variety porno actor, or B) the talent is better than the material. To their credit, the latter case wins out. And now we save you the rest of the details of a hopelessly literal screenplay. (You're welcome.)
On the sexual front, Wildcat proves to be the hottest feline in the line-up, taking on Ian Daniels and Vince Vouyer in two separate encounters. Full of youthful energy (plus a delightfully natural rack) she puts her athletic skills to work in all manner of ways, including the unlikely yet photogenic standing position. There's also a orgy (including everyone but Daniels, who is upstairs rifling through his hosts' personal belongings) which is pretty tasty, too. During the fleshly fray, Corine grabs a video camera, which has been edited in as her point of view. It's an effective technique, used judiciously.
